A.C.W.
The ACW, comprised of the ladies of Holy Trinity congregation, has been active since the church was formed. We organize fund raisers to help support our church and support many other church functions. Holy Trinity's ACW meet on the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m.

Our Creed:

Almighty God, our Heavenly Father,
who sent our blessed Son into the world to become the Saviour of all,
grant to us a deep sense of gratitude for your grace and mercy towards us.
Enable us by Your Spirit to reveal Your love in prayer, work and stewardship,
so that your salvation may become known to all people
and your name glorified throughout all the earth.
Through jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Altar Guild
This group of women is responsible for the preparation of the sanctuary for the variety of services held in the Church. They maintain the Eucharist vessels, silver and brass candle holders, linens & sacristy in good order. Following each service, the vessels are cleansed and linens laundered.

Currently there are 4 members, who share in this ministry. All members must be confirmed and regular communicants. We would welcome new members, please contact the Rector at the church office.

Baptism
Baptism is the sign of new life in Christ. In Baptism we enter the Church, the Body of Christ, the family of God. Baptisms take place when the congregation gathers for the Sunday Eucharist. The candidates - children and adults - are welcomed into the community. The parents and godparents (sponsors) are responsible for guiding the candidate in the Christian life. There is a time of preparation for the parents and/or the candidate. Specific dates are scheduled in the church year when baptism takes place. For further information contact the church office at 519-681-0124.

Worship Committee
The worship committee meets before the major church seasons to offer support for the ongoing services that require more involvement in planning. One of their ventures is to coordinate any musical events that the church is sponsoring. If anyone is interested in joining this group please contact the Rector at the church office.

Prayer Ministry
(a) Intercessors – Training is available for anyone wishing to be involved in leading the Prayers of the People during the 10:30 service. Please contact the rector at the church office.

(b)
Prayer Group – This group meets once a month
to pray together for those in need of God’s healing love. Names may be suggested, with the person’s consent and in complete confidence, to any member of the Prayer Group, who then keeps track of the person’s progress. In addition, the group prays for the broader needs of the parish and the world around us. This group prays daily for our church and its ministries.

(c) Healing Ministry - When any person is in need of special healing prayers please contact the Rector. Anointing is available upon request.

(d) Alongsiders Prayer Ministry - Among our Prayer ministry is the involvement of those from our parish that are shut in at home. They in turn pray for the church, the parishioners and all groups that are active at Holy Trinity. It gives them a sense of still belonging when they can’t get out to worship anymore. Home Communion is taken to them once a month and they are updated on their prayer list.

Anglican Fellowship of Prayer – Is a part of the prayer group and Pastoral care team. It is the AFP that is responsible for the Alongsiders ministry. AFP has prayer resources that are made available free to parishioners on all kinds of prayers in difficult situations and times of life.

“Food for Thought” - A group that meets to view videos pertaining to our world of today. This is an informal group of people who gather on one Thursday evening a month that feeds “the Soul” as well as “the body.” New members are welcome. Please contact the rector at 519-681-0124

Music at Holy Trinity
In both cooking and music, the key element is always the people involved. What the church needs most is not another hymnal, larger choirs, more technology, a revised prayer book, or another set of published scripts. What the church needs most are open, prayerful, joyous people who praise God in song. We welcome new members who like to sing and have fun. Come and join us!

Property Committee
Much of the day to day work of the Property Maintenance is carried out by our Wed. Work Party which has grown this year. We enjoy a close fellowship over coffee and goodies, which are enjoyed following our morning chores.

The Wed. Work party has been instrumental in preparing the church for special Sundays such as Thanksgiving & Christmas, including collecting, putting up and decorating the Christmas trees. This group has also helped to prepare the altar for the Nativity Scene as well as the Nativity Scene that is erected each year in the garden in front of the church. There is a certain amount of manual labour involved in some of these endeavours, and we could always use some more help. Please come out on Wednesday mornings as you are able or contact our Property/Maintenance Coordinator, Gord Procure if you would like to participate.
